British Study Centres School of English was established in 1996 and is only a two minute walk from Queen Street, the city's main shopping area.

The School has excellent modern premises and as well as providing courses in General English (15, 20, 25, 30 lessons per week), we also offer Business English and Cambridge, IELTS and TOEIC/TOEFL exam preparation courses.

BSC Teacher Training

The Cambridge CELTA is a professional qualification for those wishing to start a career in the teaching of English to speakers of other languages (known as TESOL or TEFL or ELT). Validated by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, it is an international qualification recognised by the British Council, official bodies and employers worldwide. We offer a 4 week intensive course, designed to be a springboard for those wishing to teach. It is also suitable for those who have some teaching experience but need to gain a recognised qualification. The CELTA course enables successful trainees to obtain teaching posts worldwide.

British Study Centres Group consists of 3 English Language schools: BSC London, BSC Oxford and BSC Brighton
as well as 2 vocational colleges - West London College and Hove College.
